hello pips, been making my way through the Podcasts and enjoying them greatly but kept hearing about these forums :) so thought I'd better come and see what's going on :)
So Hi from me, I'm PK, From Gloucester in Good ol' England, I'm from the Farmer part of the country. I'm not a farmer, but I do sound like one (Like a pirate if you don't know what an English farmer sounds like heh)
Been taking photos since I was about 8 (I'm now 32) one day I'll be good at it hopefully lol. I've had many different cameras over the years, starting with an old 110 film camera which I can't remember the name of, then a polaroid at the age of 11 (that must have cost my parents a fortune in film lol) I eventually was given my first SLR at the age of 13 as a gift from my grandfather, a Great little Practika, loved that thing :)
have since tried Canons and various compacts and ended up with Nikon D50, which I love a lot (although I would trade it in a blink with the new Nikon D90, just don't tell it.. lol)
Looking forward to reading through some of the forums, and hopefully contributing.. I may have learnt something over the years, ya never know :)
I also make my own Cider, just to add to that Gloucester Farmer Tag lol.
