Something about this made me photograph it. :shrug: Normally, I would keep it to myself but here is in all its ordinariness.

That works for sure. I like the extreme composition of placing the ute (means Utility in Aussie ... pickup truck to you Nth Americans) to the far left of shot leaving 'room' for the patterns to become striking.

The patterns are really cool. I can see what led you to take it. Most people would walk by without noticing.

Don't you love learning new words? I read so much that it doesn't happen often, but when an author makes me reach for the dictionary they get extra points.

really like the comp here - good eye seeing the 'shapes' that make up this cool shot.

I like this image. At first glance it does seem (to use WDs word which I had to look up the meaning) quotidian. But then you eye see the interesting pattern and then the additional meaning of who is missing in spots 9 and 10.
