I mispelled the title and I can't edit it if an admin can change it that'd be nice (I'm a bit ashamed about the mistake:headslap:)

I'm thirsty now, gotta make a run to the in & out store
Cheers then !
I should say I don't work for a beer Compagnie :)

I think the first one is the better one. I find the arm in the second one a bit distracting. Oh, and as far as the spelling is concerned, no biggie. You can actually download a spell checker for this forum, just click on the ABC Check mark and it will guide you there. Would not pick up on the bear versus beer thing, but it might help your with your "TITTLE" :evil2:
Good thing this board is in in English and not in German, or most people here would have to spellcheck a lot

I agree with Matt, I find the arm distracting in the second one. The first one is better.
Mind you the beer looks just as good in both. Now I'm thirsty.

Agreed. 1st works better. Not sure if I'm more happy for beer or disappointed in no bear. ;)
Ok the first one seems to work better then !
@ Matt
thanks for the correction ! don't know why I wrote with 2 "t" it's not like this neither in French nore in German . I corrected it now
@Wicked Dark
That was a trick to attract people on the topic ;) (this time two "t" ;p)

The tables on a lean ;)
I like the 2nd shot for the beer glass composition but the arm forces me to choose the 1st as well.

I agree pretty much with what everyone else has said and the arm is very distracting in the 2nd. MA is right though, the composition with the beer in the 2nd one is better as it highlights the beer a little more (getting thirsty too for some reason). That's my response for which one I like better.
Additionally, since it's in the critique thread I'll add in a couple of other comments.
I really don't like portraits that obscure the subject of the portrait in any way so not being able to see his face is a big issue for me. All I can really see is that it is most likely a man and he is sitting at a table where beer is served. I don't know if he's drinking it. I don't know what he looks like or if he's liking the beer or anything so as a portrait I don't think you captured the subject.
Okay, thanks for the critique Iguanasan; it helped me to think about the picture with a diferent point of view! maybe I should have focused more on the beer or waited for the moment when he's taking the beer and focus on the glass+hand/arm
Thx for editing the title ^^

It's tough but the thing I always try to have in my head, especially with portraits, is to tell a story of some kind. This just looks like a nice image of some beer with someone behind it. The fact that someone is in the photo seems inconsequential.
Regarding the title: you're welcome! :)
