Looks like down to me, but the processing could be making the colors false. Great framing.

I say up as well with the sky in the background like that but I can see how I may be wrong.

down - if memory serves me Peyto Lake is fed by glacial run off and is the most amazing colour. This is really pushing my memory as it was about 40 years ago that I was there.
