this is actually on a condemned building in Niagara Falls in the older section of down town.
The stone is limestone,I believe the shell and other fancy work to be cast - but it could actually be carved as this is a turn of the century federal government building.

Boy, did this one slip by unnoticed? Very nice detail, edG; love the sky behind it, adds quite a bit of drama to the image. Is it not a shame how some buildings get condemned, but they hold such treasures?

It is a shame some slip by unnoticed. I'm not sure I'm a fan of your choice of angle though it does lend some interest. The detail in the stonework is very nice and the contrast is awesome.

Condemned! Man, don't you just want to take that home and put it in the garden somewhere? :)

Love the tones and detail here!
Actually MA, I am waiting for the day they decide to tear it down, I,ll have a line of dump trucks lined up to haul away the limestone and detail work for the stone house I would like to build. Cheers JAS.
