Greetings guys

I'm working on some new ideas, and I thought that I'd post this one for your consideration. I wouldn't mind knowing how you feel about this one?

Peace
Peter

I can't say I know enough to suggest any improvements, but I love the moody, dramatic feel.

wow, this is very well done. I love the composition and the moody feel to it. the clouds and the starry sky really work as well.

First off, I agree, this is a powerful and well done image. The blackness of the night sky combined with the bright highlights on the statue really make this image stand out. The black halo around the right hand and feather feels like a side effect to the processing. If you were trying to make that hand stand out you would have been better off pushing the clouds back farther to make it seem more natural. Also, I would have preferred that you stand on the other side of the statue or compose with the statue on the other side of the image to allow the statue to "look into" the rest of the frame. Had the statue been looking left or if the larger portion of the sky was on the right then it would have provided a feeling of looking out into the stars. This composition makes me feel like the vision is cut off.

Iguanasan gives a very good critique here, I don't really have anything to add.

I really like the mood to this image.

Wonderful idea - it looks, like an angel orchastrates a dark night symphony!

This is great, I like it. I did some similar graveyard shots a few years ago.

You would have to get permission to go into a graveyard after dark in Calgary. (Vandals ruined all the fun). Cool shot.
