Quite nice Taffy. I'll have to be picky to critique this one.

Aspect ratio suggests a cropped sky again ... I'd have liked to see that left in and give those buildings a bit more room to breathe.
Lights on, suggesting dusk or early evening but few shadows to help illustrate that. A little on the foreground rock but not really enough I think.
I think for me, I'd like to see this scene a little darker overall to give that sky a more night feel and make the lights and buildings stand out more in contrast.

Nice use of the rock as foreground interest and overall a pleasant scene.

I agree with MA (of course why would I argue?;) ). I quite like that rock in the middle- it looks like a crocodile. The colours of the houses are neat as well.

I would love to see some closer shots of the boats too.

Taken on board the comments and ended up with this one.

Not sure if this meets the spec?

Feedback welcome

NOW it looks like a real early evening shot to me. In my opinion .... much better!

Would agree the re-work of the second image brings more of the ''feel'' of the time of day. The crop is a little tight for me especially at the top but it's still a keeper...:thumbup:

I find this a bit busy, many things distract from the subject of the image, which I have yet to figure out.
I tend to follow by a rule - Simplicity is best.
But keep in mind rules are ment to be broken ^_-
