I've been doing some black and white coloring lately, and here's what I came up with.

For me it's an interesting shot, but I find it's missing something. Maybe more of the background environment would have helped :confused:

Well here's the original picture. The backround isn't really that exciting though. Maybe I'll try some different effects in the backround and post them here. :cool:

I actually prefer the shot with the background as there is a context...but it's still missing something dynamic, something that makes you go wow, something that suggests a story... :twocents:
maybe if a face was coming out of the flame...for me it's just a shot of fire and the image of the fire is lacking in ooomph if that makes sense..
