Saw this several weeks ago but knew there was no way I could capture it without a zoom lens. And as you know I got a new zoom lens! Went back yesterday and captured it. I'm happy with the result.

After waiting so long to get the zoom lens then setting up for the shot over 500 meters away from the subjects to get the right elevation, angle, and framing I thought I'd at least get one comment :headslap:

oops. sorry Iggy! the steeples are neat and I like how they mirror one another but are slightly different at the same time. I do hate the power lines though. Have you thought about cloning them out?

kudos for you on the sharpness and your patience

No apologies necessary. Just bumping! :)

Thought about it but I'd probably break the laptop after I gave up in frustration :)

Yeah, but what are you going to do? These steeples are a half a block apart and the one on the left is uphill from the other. This is the only angle I can find that puts them in the perspective of being side by side and the same height which is what drew me to the shot.

To give you an idea of the angle here it is:

Sorry Iggy...busy with work these days so not much time for anything. I get here when I can.
I like the dichotomy of the towers..one looking slightly older than the other and a smidge more ornate. Congrats on the new lens btw...|I hope you have gads of fun with it. :)
