A few hundred metres upstream from the better known Russell Falls is this little gem, Horseshoe Falls. It's all fenced off but we passed the only ranger in the area on our walk to them and he was occupied nailing down chicken wire as grip on the boardwalks a hundred metres back ... so I jumped the fence and climb down to get some shots most people wouldn't get ;)

*tsk* Bet you climbed out your window at night when you were a kid, too. The second one looks surreal.

Fell out one day and landed on my face .... on the concrete garden surround .... chipped one of my front teeth :headslap:
My mother tells the story of putting me to bed when I was about 2 years old in the afternoon for a nap and was on the phone a few minutes later when a very short person appeared in the translucent glass of our front door. She opened it and sure enough ... there was I ... teddy bear under my arms ... tears in my eyes ... saying "Mummy ... feets hurt. Feets hurt!" Apparently that the was first time I went for freedom out my bedroom window.

beautiful! I love #2. the colour and clarity is perfect.
Apparently I made frequent bids for freedom myself over the years. :)
I once had the entire city of Halifax out looking for me (I was 6)
