I didn't see it on the podcast list but I was wondering about doing a podcast on carrying your gear?
Specifically:
What to look for when purchasing a bag or case to hold your photography stuff in terms of easy access, ease of portability (especially when hiking or bike riding), ability to carry a tripod, cost etc. etc.
There are so many options out there and right now I have 3 different varieties of cases depending on where I am going (city walking, bike riding, hiking etc), what I am shooting (need a tripod?), what I need in terms of lenses (all or just one or two).
Might make for an interesting podcast. :)

Seconded! I was especially wondering for when you're travelling abroad (e.g. in a country where poverty is great), what's the risk of carrying around your camera and tripod in an identifiable bag, and having it safe? Or when you're going through the airport, what should you put it in; should or should you not carry it with you, etc?

That IS an interesting idea - on the sooner than later list ;)

many thx for the suggestion!

I'd also be interested in hearing about things like vests and belt systems. I like having my hands free in some situations, and like pockets to put things in temporarily. I'm using a cheap fishing vest at the moment. And if you happen to know of anyone who manufactures for women, throw that in, too! Men's stuff is often too big and doesn't allow for the fact that us girls have hips and shorter torsos.

I'd be surprised if anyone had only one bag and/or camera strap in their possesion. I'd also like to hear what the thoughts are on the kata 3 in 1 pack. sounds like a great podcast coming!
