I bought me a Spyder3 monitor calibrator today and thought perhaps it might be a good topic for a podcast.

What is monitor calibration...what does it do and why is it important?

In all honesty I don't know much about it other than I am hoping that the image I see on my laptop monitor might look more like what comes out of the printer when I print off prints...right now it is a very different story and good printing paper is too expensive to waste on images that don't look right.
Just a thought. :)
