Coopers Hawk

I was out for my walk today and discovered a Coopers Hawk nest. My bird book says that the mother can lay 1 egg per day. There was 3 chicks still in the nest and the first born was perched on a limb.

Wow! Very rare find for sure, you should consider yourself lucky. I wouldn't press the photo-ops much though , so as to ensure they are not stressed.
