I thought I would throw this one up for some crit'. I like it but I'm not in love with it....if you know what I mean and I can't quite put my finger on what's wrong with it...it's interesting but it's not grabbing me. Anyhow go for it....

Composition is good, the idea behind it is great, but the scratched glass deflecting the light so poorly does not help the image. So in essence it is the subject. Had the glass been scratch free, and the reflection 'cleaner', then this would make a great image. Having said that, maybe you could try to do the shot in the rain, when the light would not be such a predominant factor. It would add to the image. I would add a dreary mood to it, showing how the glass in the arches are giving shelter to the rain. I dunno, just a thought.

I don't mind the symmetry here but I do somehow find myself really wanting to see further and maybe the opening at the end.

As Devils Advocate to Matt's comment I think if the glass/perspex was evening more translucent or reflective it might have helped too.

I actually like the shadows and hint of leaves on the glass. I think that part works. I found if I blocked the metal arch at the top of the photo, the rest of it looked quite different. That first arch doesn't have as much curve as the rest of them, and it kinda "flattens" the picture to my eye.

Thanks for the comments. I guess when I saw the light on the transclucent part I thought it looked a bit ethereal with the leaves but not enough for me to really love it. :)

I think that there are two different images here. One is of the top and the other of the bottom 3 arches.
