    i rather like the effect, but it shows a lot of noise in the sky... a pass through Noise Ninja or Neat Image or the like would really help...

    I could probably do that in layers (get rid of the noise), Rocky since I purposely put in the effect I do not want to soften it out again.

    cleaning up noise doesn't necessarily soften an image, if done carefully, but if you put the noise there on purpose, that's a different can of worms...
