on a more sober note, it's pretty bad when both the homeless person and the people walking are acting like it's all business as usual.

Hi Bambi
There is so much to see in NYC! Did you get to see the Flat Iron Building? It's my fav in NYC. I can't wait to get back which is unusual for me. Being a country boy I usually hate being in the city.
Nice photos, really like the pic of the flatiron building but I am partial to them ....
“I take photographs with love, so I try to make them art objects. But I make them for myself first and foremost - that is important.” Jacques-Henri Lartigue
"All that is necessary for the triumph of evil is that good men do nothing." Edmund Burke"Vive L'Acadie, Liberté, égalité, fraternité, ou la mort!"
I think you could have defined your subject better. If not when you took the picture then in post prepossessing by cropping the picture.
Hey John ... welcome ph.ca
One thing ... this is the 'show your photo' section of the forums ... which is not really for critique. The 'Critique' section of the forums is for that
The idea is so you can put a photo up just simply to show it off OR if you put it in the critiques section ... you can put it up in order to get peoples opinions, advice, critique, in order to learn.
thank you Antz and MA.
Papajohn: do you mean a closer crop? I have tried but I lose too much resolution because of the distance I took the shot from. However, I could try playing with it if you like![]()
