This is a wonderful subject and a great capture. I think a little post processing in the clouds to make them look a little dark and menacing might give you a photo you can enter into this month's challenge!

Thank you Iguanasan for your kind comments. I'm learning and all advice is more than welcome. As to PP, I'm really not up to it yet but it will come with time I'm sure.

    Thanks again.

I like this shot as well. It has decent composition and a good mood (albeit a darkish mood)

Very nicely done. I like the slight color of the weeds out front set off by the gray sky and ruins of the farm house.

I realy like this...especially the feel. I wonder how it would look in B&W...would it have an even more sombre feel to it?

I am not very attracted "yet" by B&W photos but ... here is my try for this one. I did some burning and darkening on the sky (mabe overdone?). I'm learning and the forum here helps me a lot. Please tell me what you think.

    Thanks

Great work. It is certainly a wonderful subject. I like the B&W version. Maybe it could do with a little more contrast.
