Boats At Low Tide
Wasn't quite sure where to put this one, but figured they are man made objects so this might be where to post it...
I took this shot last June. It's at the Alma wharf, just outside Fundy National Park. I had played around with the colours some, did some cropping, and changed it over to b & w and played around with contrast. Not sure if it's OK or should be fixed better, but that's what I'm here for - to learn.

To my eye the b/w conversion here is EXCELLENT. I'd love to see a larger shot though.

I really like it. :highfive:
However, is there anyway to put the signature a little lower in the pic? I find it distracts the eye where it is.

agree with bambi on the sig. At this size, the conversion looks quite good as opposed to excellent :o
Some small levels play and selective dodging/burning (lightening/darkening) could make this shot sing harder tone-wise. Hope that helps - Marko

Dodging & burning is something I've played around with a little, but not much. It seems like it's something that requires a lot of practice to "perfect", from what I've seen other people say. I'll try it though.
As for placing the signature lower...I agree. I don't know how to adjust it, though - maybe someone will have some thoughts on that. I suppose, since I still have the original, I could start from scratch though ;):o
