    Default Sommelier's Choice

OK, ok. I will come clean. That is not actually a Chateau Palmer cork or wine for that matter. We drank that wine some time ago. (A gift for my birthday)

This is a great piece with much potential IMO. It has some basic problems that I'd like to point out but since this is not the critique forum I'll hold my tongue. I really like the design of this one!

Go ahead and critique away! It's something that is easy enough to try and redo.

OK...The lighting on the glass is good, for me it defines the objects well but when I look deeper I get distracted by the reflections in the glass, I'm seeing too much of the space where this was shot and too much hard light from the flash. The image is also slightly leaning to the left, I think it would be better to have the bottle absolutely straight north to south. The crop leaves out some of the glass which somehow leaves it sort of incomplete to me. You have a really good eye and artistic sense IMO, and I like a lot of your work. The points above are just silly reasons I choose not to print this and hang it in the study! As I said...This one has potential.
