Blue Angels Air Show
Air Show in New Orleans this weekend. I rented a 100-400 but the focus speed was WAY too slow (didn't think about going manual & infinity like Marko suggested afterwards).
Most were shot with my 70-200 but the jets were close enough

These last two were taken by my youngest daughter (Morgan, 10 years old), using a Canon T1i in A-DEP and a 28-80 kit lens. (I post processed them)
This one has very little crop, just maybe 5% off the bottom to center them top to bottom

Really nice job AT (& Morgan).
Just wondering, was the lens you rented the new one IS II ?, because I thought the focusing on that one improved dramatically over the original.

Well done!
You and Morgan managed to take some fantastic shots despite the other lens's issue.
really hard to pick a fave here - but possibly blueangels 11 and blueangels 3
