Lethbridge Viaduct

The longest, highest viaduct in North America is located in Lethbridge, Alberta. It is apparently the highest and longest supported railway bridge in the world. Completed in 1909. See Alberta's largest railway bridges - Forth Junction

Great set! I know that bridge well, I spent many an hour wandering around underneath it as a kid.

Cool shots of an interesting bridge. One of the products my company manufactures is communication towers, so I am looking at that in terms of it being as a nice contract :) $$$$

Cool shots! Kind of made me miss Lethbridge for a minute. Ok. I am over it.

That first shot is phenomenal. Looks like a miniature of sorts.

Nice set. I like number one and was trying to get some perspective on its height...Then, I saw someone walking their dog on the road below...Wow, it's a big bugger!

Very nicely done on all three, and really like the different perspectives, as can't really pick a fave.

Thanks HBG. There were a lot of perspectives to choose from, all the way from the bottom to the top. There are stairs and walking paths all over.

Thanks, Michael. Seeing the cars and people at the bottom and then imagining a train overhead. Quite the engineering feat.

Quite right BF. The structure makes everything else seem tiny. I felt tiny next to it. Thanks for the comment.

LOL, That's interesting RM. What would it have cost to build in 1907-1909 versus now? Thanks for the comment.
