BUT...since you asked :) Here goes:
For me (and all shots are subject to the viewer's interpretation) the interplay between the GLASSES is an important part of the shot. (The glass of sweets versus the glass of sweet booze in the background). That part of the shot was important enough for you to include it with an out of focus model looking at her glass. SO, I would brighten up the glass in the background by 15-25% and then the interplay between the 2 glasses is much stronger. I'd also burn the surface that the main glass is on, and yup twisting that candy would have helped.
