Ruins
Not sure what this building was originally for. It was in Stonehurst behind the red house. All that remains is the doorway and the rock foundation. Our best guess is that it was used as an ice shack. Which makes sense given how close to the water it was - it wouldn't have served to house food or animals.

Very nice Bambi, really like the ancient look of this. Lovely detail.

Nice find, and shot very well.

Looks like it should be a doorway to somewhere interesting. Neat find.

Really quite interesting... the way you framed it you can't see the rocks so it looks like a doorway in the middle of a field. Makes you wonder, what the heck a doorway is doing there. What a great find and nicely shot.

thanks Iggy. I walked around looking for the 'best' shot. In the end I decided on this one because it showed the textures, sky and that tree was framed through the doorway. In behind was the foundation. The whole structure was at water level and I bet it flooded some days.

Nice low perspective, very cool find. love the muted decaying colours against the bright blue sky.
