This is a Grey catbird. If you have ever heard one you would swear a kitten was sitting in the tree, they are that good at it. If another bird starts singing near them they will often mimic that song with a few extra notes of their own thrown in. They actually have a beautiful song of their own also.

Yes, definitely a challenge for this shot. They are a common enough species, but are very secretive. They like to hide in the thickets, and only pop out very infrequently, and this was the only shot I had the opportunity to get today.
