the osprey's are back

Here in the kawartha lakes they have an osprey society that has put up these structures throughout the wetlands

I'm surprized the Ospreys use them when they are so low. The Ospreys here prefer much, much higher perches.

I was surprised as well when i moved into this region. I have only found 2 nests that are actually in trees
