LOl...too funny...been there done that with our cats way back when. :)
The conclusion: The bowl is up on the counter full of new food. Maxi's sniffer is working overtime, she seems genuinely excited but can't determine the holdup!
The human stares dumbfounded at the bowl of food, jaw slack, eyes wide. Despite the artists colorful rendition on the bag...The morsels are NOT fish shaped! Maxi sniffs the air, she wants to jump up and eat but the last time she jumped up on the counter she ended up in a sink full of soaking dishes:laughing:

I finally worked up the courage to put the bowl on the floor. I guess it wasn't so much the shape after all but maybe the price because she loves the new food:clap:
Aw! Those are adorable! A proper princess deserves proper food. :)
Very lovely shots MA!
Just as an FYI - Overall, wet food is much better for cats ESPECIALLY as they get older. To switch food, do it gradually by mixing the old food with the new food in decreasing amounts over 1 week. Feel free to PM me if you would like a few links or need extra info.
Best - M
I feed dry but I also think that pet food is not a place to go cheap. You end up getting all sorts of stuff in your animal's diet that you don't want. Sort of like living on hot dogs :)
Our cats get mostly dry but once a day the get some wet. My mothers cat died because his face and jaw turned to mush and he couldn't eat. It was a disease of the mouth and teeth which comes from a diet of only wet food. The teeth need the dry food to remain strong and keep clean. This was according to the vet who had to put "Bugsy" down:sad:
