I remember my time out in Halifax I went to Crystal Crescent Beach numbness set in within 30 seconds of wading out and this was summer

IT all depends, I recall really warm ocean currents sweeping up from the south very often. Pointe-du-Chęne N.B. is I think the warmest salt water beach north of the Carolinas. All depends on the currents.

Well it looks nice enough so it must be fine
I don't get into water unless it's at least 26 degrees C these days
