Gulls saw me coming in those daysI had the camera on auto exposure for these as I wasn't yet comfortable with f stops, shutter speeds or the pesky ISO bit

I thought the same, Bambilove the last gull shot looks like he's saying 'hey, who's there?'. Maybe michaelaw should make a gif-picture out of the last two photos?!
