Playing around with the 10-20mm today. I was feeding her right out of my hand and thought she would be fun to try some distortion on. :)

oooh I like this!! it shows a nice perspective! :highfive: the texture of the snow and feed. I like the background too. Did you bring the food?
I did bring the food I was walking around and noticed her walking by herslef on the path.. She fed out of my hands without issue so I thought I would try some wide angle perspectives on her seeing as she was so comfortable. Eventually she got tired of me and moved off. :)
it's tough being a model, she needed a break. :) Was it just bird seed? I ask because there's a flock of ducks on my walk and I want to bring them some food but not bread.
I usually just get them bird seed from the grocery store. Sometimes I use hamster food because it has corn, seeds and alfalfa pellets in it. :)
Cool! It's hard to use the wide angle and get away with taking heads :)
Well with the wide angle lens you get a lot of distortion as you've discovered. It leans vertical things inwards and also exaggerates the distance between things at the front and things at the back.
With heads/faces it makes things like noses or beaks look way too big and/or long.
I knew that...I just didn't know that was the term for it...:) MA you are teaching me things all the time..... :thankyou:
Glad to hear it.
