Trying to Keep Warm....

at -27 Celsius...must suck to be a sparrow in Calgary these days!
I like how they puff themselves up into little fluff balls....poor little guys...saw one actually eating snow.

High metabolisms keep them warmer I think.

So cute! All puffed out. Bird's body temperatures are higher than ours. For parrots at least, it is around 105-108 F.
