Great Egret

Went for a small cruise this drizzly morning to get a few more spring shots and found this Great Egret by the lake near home ...

Thanks Bambi. It was a nice find this morning. They are a pretty bird and stand about 750mm (about 3/4 of a yard) tall.

I was. And no ... it's rare to see Koala's :)

Thanks AntZ. It was down where the people fish near Bullocky Rest ... but by that carpark near the main road. It was quite used to people being close.
