    Default An Aussie Icon Exposé

Searched through my threads and can't seem to find any with Koala's in them. I was sure I would have and can't believe I haven't. So here's a little Koala Exposé just in case ...

It's amazing where and how Koala's will sleep!

And they'll sleep for up to 20 hours a day!

"Sorry ... no interviews today thanks"

Koala's are difficult to see in the wild unless you know where they are. But occasionally you'll stumble on one down low and get a good look.
I've seen them within a kilometre of home, I've had to stop the car on my way to work to let them cross the street, seen them while mountain bike riding, even seen them in a palm tree! But mostly they are small shapes high up in the tree tops or in pens in a wildlife zoo/sanctuary.

Yes ... they ARE as cuddly and as soft as they look!

Yes .. they can scratch you up real good. Handling wild Koala's is NOT recommended, they can definitely defend themselves!
