    So hard to get Kingfishers in a shot. They are fast and never let me get near at all.

    That Kookaburra is a cool looking bird!


    Never got a Kingfisher yet, been through three pairs of shoes trying!

    If they are a regular visitors to picnic areas then sometimes you can hand feed them bits of meat.

    Gosh, our belted kingfishers are so the opposite of that!
    I've never gotten a good shot of one yet because everytime I get even remotely close...off to the other side of the pond/river it goes.
    Why 3 pairs of shoes MAW? Same reason?

    Kookaburra's are characters. And their laugh is infectious.

    I keep forgetting to add this in I got yesterday morning ... heavilly cropped so not great quality ...
