    Default Red Crossbills

    I finally got a solid look at these guys today. I was getting tired of chasing them down, so I sat on the beach and soaked up the sun hoping they'd come in. 3 hours later, they were kind enough to show and let me get real close!

    With such clear sharp shots it's very easy to see why they are called cross bills. Thanks for sharing!
