Default A Morning of Little Birdies

Aside from practicing some HDR photography this am I also took some time to annoy some little birds that were around. I couldn't get as close as I'd like seeing as they were very small birds ... you could stuff at least 6 of those Fairywrens in your mouth before you needed to swallow!!

    Golden Whistler

    Chestnut Breasted Mannikin

    White Browed Scrubwren

    Red backed Fairywren

    Superb Fairywren

Who would swallow such cute birdies? You did again some nice shots, Steve. I love especially the Red backed Fairywren - wonderful bird! We have nothing similar here *sniff*.

Number 4 is adorable. Once again, I just want to pat its tiny little head.

I loved all these pictures, know why? Because it is not too closeup, it tells a story, birds are looking somewhere and theres a field space where we can wonder what he is looking at. Also colours are good, and pretty sharp

I had wanted to get in closer because I like to get shots with lots of detail as well but in these cases I wasn't able so I concentrated more on the compositional elements. Glad you like.
