What a cute little fella. It is amazing the detail we never notice unless we get up close. The face and mouth of this grasshopper is fascinating.

Thank you Runmonty. I wanted to do more photos...I still have some more from the side...But anyway I am not 100% satisfied and I feel that I have a lot to learn.

So, for this photo I used:
Canon 650D, Sigma 70-300 (which has "Macro" mode) and Macro extension tubes. ISO 800, 1/1000.
I usually don't use so much AF...Manual is my favorite. It is more difficult, but I like it..It is more exciting to control everything and when it is a good result, the satisfaction is greater...
So, to this photo, how to have a better depth of field?
I know, it's an old story... Insects don't stand still. When is about flowers...well...I know...Tripod... Here everything is done in hurry...But...
Please, tell me what I did wrong on this photo.
What software might help me more in Macro photography ?(I have GIMP and Darktable...but I don't use them currently).
