I have to ask. How do you create your borders?

I think it's a custom layer. Am I right ?

You guys have to ask in the middle of a Bond film:D

In PS I change the canvas size and make sure it's black. I then use the square selection tool to quickly get a selection just outside the photo area, then I stroke the selection with an off white. I get pretty sloppy sometimes as you can see if you look real hard at the above image. I use this method before I downsize for the web. For my 3648 x 2736 images I extend the canvas three hundred pixels and stroke the selection six pixels.
