Chick

My wife found this little one trapped in the garbage can after the collection truck came. It was unable to fly but still full of life. Our curious dog came and even if it did not bite it was too much of a stressful situation for the little bird. It died one hour later in my wife's hand. I just had enough time to capture this. We were both so sad :-(.

Even though it knew life for such a short time, you have succeeded in giving it a kind of immortality and making my eyes watery...Well done :thumbup:
