Winter Bluebirds

Surprisingly I still have at least 4 bluebirds that have stayed through the snow and cold, at least up to this point. These 4 are quite regular guests around the yard and still enjoying the protein I put out for them in the way of mealworms every day. However, here are a few pics of them getting some fruit into their diet.

Very nice set. Just love the colours in the first one.

First one especially, for the color. Like the action of the fourth, and the wing detail of the second. Oh, heck, can I just like them all?

Crop down #1 and put it on your wall. Sharp, enough profile to see wing colour and a good contrast of the red and blue. Very nice.
