Big Island of Hawaii. Having a blast here, so far only 2500 images ... 5 more days to go. Here is Ed, the turtle, found on the black sand beaches of Ka Lea. Sorry, folks, but other than convert and crop my 200 dollar net book has no editing features....

Indeed, Iggy. And by the looks of it mom would be about 90 years old or more. This one was at least 2 feet from nose to tail, so pretty old as turtles go.

Once I get back, I'll share some images from the helicopter flight over the lava flow. That was one of the bucket list things for me to do. And I am hooked on helicopter flights now. Too bad they cost an arm and a leg, but they sure give you a different perspective. Wonder how long it takes to get a helicopter license.....
