You're really starting to master this techniques aren't you Iggy? like that wasp shot especially.
Thank you very much, HBG. One works with what one has. Until I can put aside enough for that macro lens I'll have to get my with my reversed 50mm :)
You really are getting to be a master of that reverse fast fifty. Save you pennies (well dollars) for that 100mm macro. Can't wait to see those pictures. I was listening to the Photofocus podcast and Scott Bourne says that the 100mm macro is one Canon's sharpest lenses.
I too am liking the wasp shot. You have nailed this style of macro shooting.
the wasp image was excellent. thanks for sharing
These are wonderful Iggy.
Thanks, Runmonty, chrisflees, and AntZ. In truth I was a little disappointed with the wasp shot. He was in a bit of a shadow and the best I could muster was f8 which didn't give me as much depth of field as I would have liked. It was still cool to see that little piece of nature happening in front of me though.
I'm a fan of the wasp shot too, interesting subject, and lovely coloured soft background. I see your point of the dof, but still a note worthy image...
Thank you, Richard. Cheers! :)
