Oh! Very nice sharp shot, Michael!
very sharp. man, your coyotes are small!
Probably we ordered the smaller ones...We're cheap! He/She was my dog for half an hour as I followed it around deer lake. It stuck mostly to the trails. Every once in a while it would stop...Pounce in the trail side brush and come out with a rodent. I thought at the time I should give it my camera as it saw stuff I never knew was right in front of me :)
Wow. What a nice set. And sharp!!!!
Thanks aubintbay :)
Wonderful captures, Michael! The detail is awesome! Did you get any action shots? I would love to see him in a pounce.
Thanks Iggy...When he pounced I wasn't ready and it looks like some old lady threw a big fuzzy had in front of the camera. The one time I was ready, he didn't pounce but here's the shot of him thinking about it

Awesome set M!! Must be cool to have large wild animals like these around. The only thing like that around we get are Roos ... and Dingo's if you go to Fraser Island.
Thanks MA...This guy was about the size of a medium dog, Border Collie size. Around here they're not so much rare as timid. If you're not looking, you easily miss them, they spend many hours underground reading Acme catalogs
Awesome set Michael. Love that first shot especially, so much detail captured.
wonderful set indeed Maw!
Nice set MAW....he's seems much darker than the ones we get out here. Ours are more blonde-ish...he almost has a Husky type look with a really pointy nose. :)
Very neat!
oh these are great. this is what I missed at the frozen pond, only got the tracks. Of course I have seen them, but from the car only as they crossed a road. I did see a pileated woodpecker today though for the first time ever. I finally figured out what makes that noise like a monkey.
Ha!...I know what you mean. I was forever hearing this high pitched "Hee Haa" sound in the bush never knowing what it was. My neighbor at the time told me it was tree frogs but then one day I saw the culprit....Chickadees!
Nice shots!! .. It sure is a lot darker coloured than the ones we have around here . You were lucky to find such a friendly one .... a 1/2 hour in it's company...That's pretty cool!! They're quite wild around here , but then most of the people shootin' at them here , are not using cameras :(
