We had a great day looking for raptors, even though we did not find our target species of Short-eared Owls, we did find this female Red-tail....

What is the Red Tail claiming?? Not the right colour for a rabbit this time of year.

I love raptors. We have many here too but rarely get close enough to get shots like these. Nice work.

Thanks Bambi, and MA. The Red-tail was actually about 150 yards out and it is a 'coon carcass Andrew.
