wow!! nice captures MA
Wonderful colourful birds you have there, you would think this would be a disadvantage when it comes to survival. Nice work MA.
Lovely images MA...I especially dig the last one!:)
Are they after nectar or fruit or seeds?
Really colourful MA - well caught!
nice birds MA. I really like the last shot.
Beautiful shots of beautiful birds, M.A.!
As I said on Flickr! Great images. It's almost hard to believe those colours are real!
The colours are not only real IG, I didn't do a thing to them either. Levels I think only. Absolutely no saturation etc. They really are that bright.
It's 6.20am here and I can hear them out there in the tree this morning again.
Greg ... I guess in a flock, with all that colour it's hard for a predator to pick out a single bird. On the other hand maybe it just gets them more sex?
Casil ... nectar mostly. They will eat seeds also though.
Thanks everyone for the comments :)
Beautiful specimens, caught so very well in their natural environment.
Love that last one also, perfect catch on the eye.
Thanks HBG :)
Sigh. Makes me wish previous generations hadn't killed off our Carolina parakeets. Dumb asses.
Wonderfully done, exceptional colors
Cheers Matt
