    Not my usual photographic subject, these are from my holiday on our day out a Muncaster Castle, where there is an owl sanctuary.

    I really like the second one. It looks like that owl was moving! Years ago I was hiking with a friend. We sat down to rest for a moment, and an owl flew directly over our heads (as in within inches!). We didn't know it was there until we felt the air move just above us - the wings really are that silent.
